Pre-season training began today, with many new and 'old' faces rejoining the Honest Men.

Gareth Wardlaw and John Robertson will be no strangers to the Somerset Faithful. Robertson has already 119 games for Ayr under his belt in two stints at the club and Gareth Wardlaw had three years at Ayr already.

Michael McGowan

Kevin Cuthbert has also joined the Honest Men. The 6 foot goalie has alot of experience in the First Division, having played for both St Johnstone and Greenock Morton respectively. Ayr also swooped in on Midfielders, Michael McGowan from Alloa Athletic and Andy Geggan from Dumbarton.
